Surrounded by Cathkin Peak, Monk’s Cowl and Champagne Castle, Injisuthi nestled between the Delmhlwazini and Old Woman streams, is a central pivot to the variety of hiking trails that lead across and into the mountains. The well-spaced campsites are serviced by modern ablution facilities and offer spectacular views of the Majestic Drakensberg. There is no electricity available. |

Monk’s Cowl is the gateway to some of the most magnificent mountain wilderness areas in South Africa and is part of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site. A perfect place for day hikes, as well as overnight hikes into the mountains. The resort has a curio shop and a tea garden where you can relax and enjoy your favourite refreshment.
